Julie Matthews joined the Pulse family as a coach in 2021, bringing her passion for fitness and her dedication to helping others achieve their goals.

Born and raised in Northport, NY, Julie’s athletic journey began with soccer, but her fitness transformation took off in 2012 when she started working with a personal trainer. This experience ignited her love for fitness and inspired her career path in coaching and wellness.

With four years of experience, Julie has earned multiple certifications and expanded her skill set as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner. She practices at Osteo Oasis, located in the same space as Pulse Barbell Club and Breathe Strength Studio. Her osteopathic sessions combine therapeutic massage techniques and joint mobilizations, focusing on improving range of motion and providing pain relief.

Julie’s expertise has led to life-changing results for her clients. One notable success story involves a client who came to her with debilitating lower back pain. Through her training and treatments, he not only achieved pain-free movement but has gone on to compete in powerlifting competitions, two years removed from his initial struggles.

Julie continues to make a lasting impact, blending her fitness knowledge and osteopathic practice to support her clients’ health and performance goals.
